GravityMon dual license¶

GravityMon is available under two separate licenses. Choose the one that applies to your use case:

License A — GPL v3 (Open Source)¶

Use this license if you:

Use, study, or modify the software for personal/non-commercial use
Distribute the software and ALL your modifications as open source under GPL v3
Are an individual hobbyist selling ≤ 100 units per calendar year (see Hobbyist Safe Harbor below)

Obligation: You MUST publish your full source code under GPL v3.

License B — Commercial License¶

You MUST obtain a Commercial License if you:

Distribute this software in a product without releasing your source code under GPL v3
Are a company or business entity distributing any quantity
Are an individual distributing > 100 units per calendar year
Sell on marketplaces (AliExpress, Amazon, eBay, etc.)

Hobbyist Safe Harbor¶

Individual hobbyists may distribute this software in pre-assembled hardware products WITHOUT a Commercial License, provided ALL of the following are met:

You are an individual person, not a company or business entity
Total units distributed do not exceed 100 per calendar year
You publish the full source code of your version under GPL v3
You include a visible link to https://github.com/mp-se/gravitymon and https://github.com/mp-se/gravitymon-ui
All original copyright notices remain intact

Exceeding any of these conditions requires a Commercial License.
